About The Event

Swagata, to dowithlit's Kannada Utsava - a gathering to celebrate Kannada Art. The event will have Open Mic, Live Kannada Jamming (one of the firsts in Bengaluru ever) and Fun Activities!
Open Mic involves the best poets, storytellers, musicians and comedians all performing their originals in Kannada. The vibe of the event is creative, happiness and positivity all around. Our Kannada shows have been graced by some amazing stars of the Kannada entertainment industry - Sangeetha Sringeri, Harini Sreekanth, Ranjani Raghavan, Niranjan Deshpande, Midhun Mukundhan, Vijay Lakshmi, Kalyan Manjunath, Nayana Nagaraj and many others, and they have all loved it!
Post the open mic, we will have a 30-minute pure Kannada jamming session, one of the firsts in the city, going through old and new numbers - all our favourite ones. You do not need to be a singer or a musician to be a part of this, just being a lover of music is enough!
Amongst all this, we have planned a range of fun and interactive activities for our performers and audience!
Come, perform at the open mic or attend as audience. Either ways, you will be a part of the #littribe! dowithlit Open Mics are an experience of their own.
This show only allows Kannada Performances.
Performer Guidelines:
1. The content performed should not be sexist, racist or derogatory to any community or group in any form.
2. Use of abusive language or slurs will not be allowed.
3. The minimum age limit to participate in the event is 15. The attendees do not have an age limit.
4. Every participant will be given 6-8 minutes to perform. There will not be any changes in this.
5. Once the registration fee has been paid, you will be asked to join a WhatsApp group where you will be receiving further information about the event.
6. No refund will be generated under any circumstances once registration of an individual is complete.
