On Saturday, 8th August, we're gathering for something incredibly special - the 50th edition of LIT MIC in Chennai.

What started as a small open mic has grown into a community. Over the last 4 years, this stage has witnessed first-time performers overcoming stage fright, seasoned artists discovering new audiences, strangers becoming friends, and countless stories, poems, songs, jokes, and memories that still stay with us.

We've had packed houses and quiet evenings.

We've had magical nights and nights where things didn't go exactly as planned.

But through every chapter, you showed up.

You trusted us with your words, your music, your vulnerability, your laughter, and your applause.

For that, we simply want to say—

To celebrate this milestone, this edition is completely FREE for all performers. Whether you've performed with us from the beginning, joined somewhere along the way, or have been waiting for the right moment to finally step on stage, this is your invitation.

More than just another open mic, this afternoon is about celebrating our journey together.

We'll perform, laugh, reminisce, and spend some time talking about where LIT MIC goes from here. We'd love to hear your thoughts, your feedback, your ideas, and your dreams for this community because this stage has always belonged as much to you as it has to us.
