About The Event
Monali is a versatile, multilingual, and multi-genre music artist excelling in Carnatic, Hindustani, Rabindra Sangeet, Sufi, and folk traditions, from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Singing in more than 15 languages, she captivates audiences with soulful renditions that celebrate India’s diversity.
A Kerala University Youth Festival Award winner, Monali promotes the therapeutic power of music through workshops addressing stress and anxiety. She is also involved in social projects for specially abled children and children from economically challenged backgrounds.
As the founder of The School of Music, she offers innovative courses in vocal, instrumental, and visual arts. Monali's unique pedagogy and passion for music foster unity, inspire young talent, and enrich cultural appreciation worldwide.
This 1.5 hour musical performances takes you through a journey of India's rich music heritage and covers major traditions from all corners of the country. The show is an experience and a treat if you love to experience the diversity of music out there.
The performance will be a multi-lingual, multi-genre concert, with a total performance duration of 75 minutes including a 15 minute interaction with the audience as part of the 90 minute performance
